A Hairy Experience On Letterman Last Night

John Edwards on the Late Show last night with David Letterman, waiting for rigor mortis to set in on his presidential campaign.

Letterman: Could I just mess up your hair a little bit?

JE: You want to? Go ahead.

DL: You don't mind?

JE: I don't mind.

Uh, something tells me he minded. Suppose Letterman would try to muss up the hair of Hillary or Barack? Nope. Edwards is polling roughly half of the numbers Hillary is in South Carolina, his native state. And that's the battle for second place. Edwards is polling roughly a third of what Obama is. In Monty Python terms, his campaign is the dead parrot.
