Like I said earlier about the Dobson statement.  Romney's speech struck a chord across a lot of ideological and political lines today.

Romney is positioning for the heart of the party. He is trying to pull together his 3 legged stool. He is trying to get votes off of everyone.

Rudy has been pushed left, tainted by scandal and seems to be crashing. Fred has crashed and should continue to leak unless he actually does something to help himself. McCain is waffling along. Huck is positioning as "God's Anointed Candidate". That is a smart tactical strategy in the short run as that gets him quick cheap votes but as the Pat Robertson of 2007 he will lose in the longer run.

Romney should pick up voters off of Fred and Rudy. Both of them had fluid supporters who move. Huck now has many of them. A lot of his support is not that solid. He is still the flavor of this week. We will see where he is when all of his negatives come out.
